Apple Music was announced back in June, so in case you haven’t noticed, those three-month free trials are coming to a close for a lot of users. If anyone knows, it’s Apple, so they’re making some marketing maneuvers to lure in more listeners. During the Emmys last night, Apple Music premiered a dope new ad featuring Mary J. Blige, Kerry Washington and Taraji P. Henson. The three ladies are talking about how they used to make mixtapes, but now they just use the playlists on Apple Music. “Instant Boyfriend Mixtape Service,” it reads at the end.
